Exciting News from the Teaching About Religion Team

We Received a Grant!

The Teaching About Religion team is excited to announce we've received a $4,000 grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency! The Individual Artist Support (IAS) program assists Illinois artists to realize a career goal, take advantage of a professional opportunity, or to produce and present an artistic project. We are grateful for the opportunity and look forward to continuing to work on the film with the additional support.

Teaching About Religion is in Production

Last week Teaching About Religion started production at Prospect High School. Preliminary interviews with students have begun and we are hoping to follow students' journeys both inside and outside of the World Religions class. Each day spent in the classroom helps shape the story of the film, but it takes a lot to hire crew members to shoot for each school day. Please consider donating online to help fund our continued production and pay our crew.
