TEACHING ABOUT RELIGION
A feature documentary coming in early 2022
In a midwestern suburban high school, students take a World Religion class that challenges their assumptions about religion, culture, and society. Teaching About Religion (working title) is a film that is both personal and educational, exploring the nuances of religious literacy inside and outside the classroom to tell the stories of young students from vastly different faiths and communities.
This film is partially supported by the Kartemquin Emerging Storyteller Fund and a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency Individual Artist Program.
