About
In 2019, students from different faith backgrounds come together for an epic World Religions class in a public high school. Through their senior year, the basketball coach turned World Religions teacher helps them navigate the nuances of religion, race, and culture while coming to terms with their own identities in light of the status quo and an unexpected global crisis.
Starting on Day 1 their senior year, students will learn more than the four noble truths and the five pillars of Islam. We follow a handful of students of different faiths (including Hinduism, Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, and Atheism) as they confront their preconceived notions of their peers' faiths. When they bring their questions home to their parents at the dinner table, we get to see the teenagers transform their worldviews.
